The "Qian Lecture" is an international academic conference jointly sponsored by the Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and Wuhan University, and organized by the Editorial Office of the Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (JRMGE). The lecture was named after Prof. Qian Qihu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Since its inception in 2020, the lecture has been successfully held for five sessions, and a total of 13 top scholars from China, USA, UK, France, Norway and other countries have been invited as keynote speakers. In order to further promote the international academic exchange and development in the field of rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering, we sincerely invite experts and scholars from around the world to apply to be lecturers of the 6th Qian Lecture.
