Following the success of the last conference held in Shanghai, China, in 2017, Tongji University is pleased to invite you to attend the 5th International Symposium on Unsaturated Soil Mechanics and Waste Disposal (UNSAT-WASTE 2023) in September, 2023.

This conference will cover a broad range of topics and provide an excellent platform for the academics, engineers, researchers and students to present and exchange the latest developments in the research of unsaturated soil mechanics and the application of disposal of high-level nuclear waste. Good papers will be selected for publication either in Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering or Geoenvironmental Disasters. More details can be found below.
